Susan Thomas is the woman to know when it comes to community and action. Her passion for people is evident the moment you meet her with a smile the lights up a room. 

Susan is a New Yorker by birth, but a Texan by choice and she has traveled extensively both domestically and internationally but is always game for a good road trip with girlfriends. She has been a faithful member of Covenant Church in Carrollton, TX for over 30 years where volunteers for numerous events and is the lead host for high profile ministry guests and celebrity talent.  

The love of serving others is what fuels Susan’s passion, particularly for outreach programs which impact women, and girls. Susan is very involved in Young Life/Young Lives where she mentors teen moms to navigate the challenges of life by creating a focus on success strategies. She has also been influential in leading the Serve Your City project at Frankford Townhomes which serves and nurtures relationships with 50 plus kids and their families by coordinating several events each year. 

Susan is also a proud member of Toastmasters International, where she currently serves as the Distinguished Toastmaster Mentor Chair and was past Division Director in District 50, Dallas. She was honored as the District’s Division Director of the Year for 2020-2021.  

Susan is a graduate of Amberton University and is the Founder, President, and CEO of Taking Care of Business Concierge Services. She also works on the Event management team at Covenant Church. Susan is truly a renaissance woman and a woman to know when you want to get things done!
